RESOURCEWARE
Items 259004, 259005, 259006, 259007, 259008
Biodegradable cutlery is a molded cellulose fiber/limestone
product that doesn’t contain any plastic resin, is DIN certified
and biodegrades in active compost systems. It is white in color, yet distinct in appearance. The cutlery is made from
Biograde 300A which is a chemical compound of biopolymers (such as starch and proteins), anorganic filling agents
(primarily limestone for strength) and biologically recyclable additive agents (such as cellulose). The combination of
these properties represents a perfect compromise between the opposing demands of effective biodegradability on the
one hand and food resistance and high thermal stability (heat resistance) on the other hand. Biograde 300A consists of
over 60% of renewable resources, is compostable according to DIN EN 13432 and is certified for food approval.
ENVIROWARE
Items 180055, 180056, 180057, 180058
EnviroWare™ is certified by an independent testing agency as 100% biodegradable. In addition, EnviroWare™ is FDA approved and meets the strictest standards of the Food Grade HACCP certification from AIB.
EnviroWare™
products are formulated to interact with micro-organisms that are present in standard landfills,
composting landfills and in our natural environment. These micro-organisms attack the molecular structure
of the plastic and metabolize those structures, breaking it down into organic compounds. EnviroWare™ products do not contain any dyes or pigments that could be harmful to the environment.
SPUDWARE
Items 259014, 259015, 259016
Made from GMO-free
potato starch, biodegradable
Spudware utensils are excellent for hot foods
such as soups. Slightly coarser than
plastic, these tan-colored utensils are dishwasher safe.
And, with a shelf life of 5 years, there is no reason not to reuse them. Outperforming plastic
in boiling and microwave tests, these utensils will biodegrade when you want to get rid of them.
